Wellness Training, offers training and development solutions to those interested in expanding their current knowledge and skills, specifically in dealing with adversity, leading in a crisis, and achieving optimal wellness. These training solutions are offered in groups or individual, virtual or face-to-face formats.

WELLNESS refers to a person’s quality of life, being healthy in body and mind. To reach this optimal level of functioning, each individual needs to develop their psychological wellness by acquiring the knowledge, skills, adopting and practicing these healthy habits on a daily basis. This will lead to better physical and mental health outcomes. These psychological wellness practices, depends on essential life skills, such as  well-developed self-esteem, emotional maturity, psychological awareness, self-regulation and the social skills and ability to successfully integrate our personal lives with the demands at work. Psychological Wellness is a key requirement to lead a prosperous professional and personal life.

 

We offer Psychological Wellness Training, to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and habits, to dramatically improve the state of Wellness, for you, your family, your team or even your organisation.

 

Psychological Wellness Group Training (1 ½ days):

Our solution, consists of a 1-day training session (virtually or face-to-face) facilitated by a skilled facilitator, followed (21-days later) by a ½ day Impact session.

Individual Wellness Coaching

We offer Wellness Coaching, for individuals by a qualified professional.

 

Individual Coaching is a “collaborative, individualised relationship between a person and a coach, the aims of which are to bring about sustained behavioural change and to transform the quality of the person’s working and personal life” (Skiffington and Zeus, 2002)

A typical Wellness Coaching lifecycle is shown below:

Cycle

The coach and the coachee will contract on the Wellness Goals and expectations of the coachee. Depending on the development goals, a typical Coaching Process will consist of 1-hour coaching sessions, conducted over a period of time. To achieve maximum benefit from such a process two (2) sessions per month is advised.

 

Often, people select individual wellness coaching over group training due their personal preference and the personal focus and extra personal time that the individual coaching process offers.









Resilience Training

RESILIENCE refers to a person’s ability to withstand adversity and bounce back from difficult life events. Resilience isn’t a fixed trait and can be developed! Being resilient does not mean that you don’t experience stress, emotional upheaval, or suffering. It actually includes working through emotional pain and suffering. By improving your self-awareness, adopting new mindset and skills, you can change certain of your thoughts and behaviors. Those with well-developed resilience will show a lower stress response to adversity, a more productive coping response, a sense of mastery and ultimately an improved performance, personally and professionally.

 

We offer Resilience Training, that will develop the necessary knowledge, and skills, to dramatically improve your ability to deal with and bounce back from adversity. This intervention is aimed at improving the Resilience, of individuals, teams, and organisations.

Crisis Leadership

In times of upheaval and crisis, leaders need to adjust their leadership approach to lead their teams, through the crisis (in the short-term) but also beyond, towards a sustainable future. This requires extraordinary Leadership skills to deal with the impact of the crisis, create a clear path, implement the crisis plan, deal with the emotional/psychological responses, and create stability and predictability for your teams. However, the true test of a leader during a crisis, is the ability to take advantage of the crisis, identify the opportunities it presents, create new innovative responses, align the organisation, and implement within a short period of time.

 

Crisis Leadership, relies heavily on the principles of Agile Leadership complemented by proven Change Management Practices. In addition, Crisis Leadership offers a Process and Toolkit, to lead the emotional journey of each individual and team. It equips the leader to understand the emotional journey of their people, and the toolkit to lead their people through the crisis and build a more successful organisation.

 

Crisis Leadership Training

 

Our Crisis Leadership solution consist of two offerings; a stand-alone programme Foundations of Crisis Leadership (1 ½ days) and Crisis Leadership (a Customised Programme).

 

Both of these programmes can be offered as Accredited Programmes

 

Foundations of Crisis Leadership (1 ½ days):

This programme consists of a 1-day training session (virtually or face-to-face) facilitated by a skilled facilitator, followed by a ½ day Impact session.
